Get ready for another rockin' year of this student music festival at Colfax! 

What is Kidchella? Kids in grades 2-5 may sign-up to learn an instrument - at no cost to them - and then perform with their band at a concert open to all families and students on Saturday, March 25th. 

The sign up process has 3 steps:

1. Sign up to get your child a spot in Kidchella 
On Tuesday at 8pm go to link.colfaxpace.org/kidchella. This link will not be active until 8pm Tuesday. The program is open to 2nd-5th graders but only the first ~100 students who sign up online are accepted on a first come, first served basis (preference given by grade level - 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd). Space will be opened for 2nd graders, if available, after all older grade levels are placed.

This step gets your child the opportunity to participate in Kidchella and does not determine who will be in their band.

2. Attend the mandatory parent meeting
Via Zoom on Tuesday, February 7th at 7pm. Once you have confirmation your child can perform at Kidchella, you will receive the Zoom details. Only parents who attend this meeting will have access to the next sign up.

3. Pick a rehearsal time
Once your child has a spot and you've attended the meeting, you will receive information on how to sign up for a rehearsal time slot. This 2nd sign up determines who is in your band.
